PADI RDP / Imperial
How to use it
- Front: click your depth, then your bottom time. Yellow highlights depth; blue highlights the pressure-group row.
- Surface interval: enter minutes or click a printed interval range. Pink highlights the resulting group; clicking a range also flips to the back.
- Back: choose the next depth, then Save & add second dive. Your group carries forward; earlier highlights fade. Repeat for more dives.
- Review & reset: open saved dives to review or edit. Editing removes later dives. Clear current highlights keeps earlier dives; Start over clears the plan. Use + / − to zoom.
Use with your PADI training and the complete table instructions. This educational planning aid uses the imperial air tables for no-decompression dives. Check every plan against your training, the original instructions and your dive computer.

The calculation
How it works
EAD = [(1 − oxygen fraction) ÷ 0.79] × (actual depth + 33) − 33, in feet; use 10 in meters. Negative theoretical values are shown as zero for a surface-depth comparison.
Reference: NOAA diving formulas ↗Before you use it
Keep in mind
Sea-level seawater, nitrogen/oxygen mixtures only. EAD addresses nitrogen, not oxygen toxicity, and is not an MOD or dive-time limit. Follow your table's next-deeper-depth rules or a correctly configured nitrox computer.
