Technical Diving: The Work Before the Dive
Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures training deepened my respect for preparation, team communication, and disciplined decisions.
At Horizon Divers in Key Largo, I completed TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures training on December 21, 2025. These courses marked an important step in my technical-diving education and pushed me to be more deliberate about the planning that happens before entering the water.
Technical training has reinforced that sound decisions come from preparation, clear communication, and staying within the plan. The learning continues well after a course ends: each new skill is a reason to review, practice, and keep building experience carefully.
That approach also shapes how I think about scientific diving and instruction. Whatever the objective, the team and the preparation matter as much as the time underwater.
