The Divemaster Milestone
Earning my PADI Divemaster certification marked a new step in a diving journey built on curiosity, practice, and service to other divers.
At the College of the Florida Keys, I completed the PADI Divemaster program on April 29, 2026. It was a meaningful milestone after years of learning in and around the water, and it added a new professional qualification to a path that began with my first certification in 2010.
Divemaster training asks you to think beyond your own dive. Preparation, awareness, communication, and supporting the people around you all matter. Those habits connect naturally with the scientific, technical, and instructional sides of diving that I have continued to explore.
I am proud of reaching this point, and I see it as another responsibility to keep learning and to contribute thoughtfully to the dive community.
