Two Degrees, One Direction
On August 10, 2026, I completed two CFK degrees with a 4.0 GPA, bringing diving, business, and marine science together.
On August 10, 2026, the College of the Florida Keys awarded me an Associate in Applied Science in Diving Business & Technology and an Associate in Science in Marine Environmental Technology. I completed both with a 4.0 GPA.
The college also awarded me three certificates: Professional Dive Instructor, Professional Research Diving, and Fundamentals of Professional Diving.
The two programs brought together parts of diving I care about: the practical work and professionalism that make a dive operation run, and the marine environments that make every trip below the surface worth protecting.
I am proud of the grades, but what stays with me most is the steady work behind them: learning after a day in the water, asking better questions, and carrying what I learned into my next dive.
